1. The product
HOOK is a Chrome extension that identifies the song playing in the current browser tab. The free plan includes up to 10 TAP identifications per day. HOOK Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks Auto identification and 100 identifications per day.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a contract in your country. HOOK is not directed at children under 13.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use HOOK on Chrome. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or share license keys. Activation is limited (typically 3 devices per license).
4. Payments
Paid plans are billed by Creem as Merchant of Record. Prices: USD 9.99 per month or USD 79 per year, plus applicable tax. After payment, Creem emails a license key. Paste it in HOOK Settings. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in the Creem customer portal (link in your receipt). Refunds are handled by Creem under their buyer terms.
5. Acceptable use
Do not abuse identification quotas, share keys, or use HOOK to infringe copyrights. HOOK cannot identify DRM-protected apps such as Netflix or Spotify Web.
6. Privacy
Audio clips are sent only after you ask (or when Auto is on, if you are Pro). See the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer
HOOK is provided as is. Identification can miss. We are not liable for indirect damages. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
